Guidelines For Social Justice Research QuestionsSocial justice research is a broad subject and what constitutes a social justice research question can vary from individual to individual. For instance, if you are asked to write a paper, but there is no clear definition of what a social justice question is, how do you decide?Some research is not about studying issues as such, but only means to a greater end, usually a set of aims or goals, and the use of particular strategies, instruments, or methods in reaching these ends. For example, if you are writing a paper for an ethics course, you may be asked to examine social justice research questions that relate to the ethical decisions you will make when making ethical decisions. Such questions will not necessarily concern people.You could also ask research questions about situations or facts. These questions may address 'who' but may also be about 'how' as well as 'what.' For example, if you are conducting a study about the distribution o f alcohol in a city, you may be asked questions about the allocation of liquor licenses and allocating them by the number of bars in the city. This type of research question does not have a clear meaning, so it is best to either define the meaning of a social justice research question or ensure that the questions do not include overt ideological motivations.After you have decided on a social justice research question that relates to an issue, then you can start to look for ways to create a proper framework for your findings. The framework must be well defined and should be set up in a way that ensures the integrity of the findings and the fairness of the process. In other words, a well-defined framework should provide the participant with a sense of security that everything they need to know about the issues, including their answer to the question, is available to them. That, my friend, is what makes people change their minds!Once you have established the framework, you need to desi gna question to ask your participants to evaluate their own research, their own paper, or the results of the study itself. A question such as 'How would you rate the quality of your research?' is not necessary here. However, if you are interviewing people as part of a study, you need to make sure that you are asking appropriate questions. This should ensure that you are not evaluating your own work or that of other participants, in an unfair manner.Another important aspect is the number of participants in the study. If you are doing a study that involves only yourself, you will need to ensure that there are enough participants to get a fair sample. If, however, you are conducting a study that includes a group of a few students and their teacher, then it may be more difficult to ensure that there is a representative sample. It will also be easier to influence the participants if they are not at all representative of the students as a whole. In such cases, it is necessary to include a control group, so that you are not being biased or swayed by your own results.So there you have it, some basic guidelines to remember when asking social justice research questions. With these tips in mind, you can make sure that you do not participate in studies that are seriously skewed or flawed. Good luck!

They attempted to adhere to the spirit of truth in the ways of light as it is described in the Instruction of the Two Spirits within the Community Rule, while all others were assumed to be doomed to falsehood in the path of darkness. Ed Roberts Henry Edward Roberts was a computer engineer and became widely known as the creator of the first commercially produced personal computer (or microcomputer) in 1975. If you make someone wear uniforms, you are suffocating someones sense of personality. That is why I think that uniforms are not efficient. I am going to talk about culture and cost, individuality and uniqueness, and other cons that are against uniforms. This will cover all the disadvantages about uniforms needed in public schools all over Canada. Culture and cost are probably the main cons that are against uniforms. I think that some parents and children might have religious objections to uniforms. Others wont participate for aesthetic reasons. If given a choice, it is hard to imagine that most teenagers will opt to not wearing uniforms. Most uniforms are expensive these days and some parents might have hard time to pay for it. In addition, they will have to buy regular clothes and uniforms. The parent who really doesnt want the school to dress their child and who is trying to raise an independent-thinking child should be able to opt-out for any reasons, said Larry Frankel, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union in Pennsylvania. Second, they have no direct bearing on students academic achievement. Third, they teach an undesirable lesson about making choices based on internal values. And the fourth one, they violate students rights to free expression and individuality. Many students do get uncomfortable to uniforms and they should have the right to opt-out for this. In talking with others on the subject, it seems as if most people are sitting on the fence as well. While voting seems like the ethical thing for me to do, would I be making a difference?One of the reasons that I should vote is that it is my duty as a citizen to vote. The Constitution gives me the right, and therefore I should respect that privilege. Furthermore, it was the goal of our ?founding fathers? to give us the right to participate directly in our government. Voting is the basic form of political involvement, yet one of the most important. Since becoming independent, the US has become a world power largely based upon a representative government. It can be argued that in order to stay on top, we must continue fulfilling our political obligations; obviously these are reasons I should vote. Despite the fact that in previous years politicians worked hard to guarantee basic rights and privileges, it is a different situation today. Nowadays, politicians are more apt to badger us for campaign contributions and votes. Instead of giving to us, they take for themselves. Moreover, they engage in mudslinging and more times then not are ambiguous in their stances on important matters. Why should I help them further their career, when I am not being helped? Why should I take the time to register to vote, become informed, and cast a ballot, if it is all for not? Based upon these reasons, I should not vote. Solving this argument would be beneficial because of its civic importance. No matter what stance I take, people would be affected. Since the U.S. is a ?well-oiled? machine (in terms of economic and political status), it is not likely that this matter will cause immediate harm, but if more and more people question the political process, it will.
