Admissions Essay The Plain Truth All of my life I have been a city girl, but I moved to Santa genus Rosa when I was about 13. Up until I was about 16, I lived in that respect permanently. I used to switch back and forth from lift to parent all of the time. When I first started high school, I went to Piner High and, in my subaltern year, I went to Montgomery and, from thither, to a continuation school. I am currently now back at Piner. I had to basically bang and scream to get back into my regular high school--as you can intoxicate there is some drama behind the scene. Applying to college was non an easy function for me. First, I had to make the choice of whether I regarded to go or not. After I went to SMYSP, I knew I wanted to be there--my vauntingly problem was that I did not think I was good enough. No one in my family even has a high school diploma. At first I was going to vertical settle for a junior college, but with the pushing of my pals from Stanford, I decided not to sell myself short. I really had no confidence in myself. I did not tactile property so smart. I kept telling myself that my chances for getting into college were slim because I went to a continuation school. So when I got back from my time at SMYSP, I come in everything that I had into my education. For the rest of my summer I elegant much hit the books. When I first started to apply to colleges I just told the truth about who I was. I did not try to put on a courageous act. I just wanted them to essay that I may be just as qualified as anyone else, but the difference between us is that I want it so badly. I really did not care where I got accepted I just wanted to go to college and be someone. Just being there would be a chance to prove that I am outlay taking a second look at. See, I am not a rich girl who has always gotten what I wanted, and because I want this so badly, I dont want anyone to take it from me. I worked hard to be who I am, and the great part about it is that I have dreaming and I am a goal reacher.
